Homer is thrilled about a party where Lenny unveils his new plasma HD TV. However, three days later, Homer is still holed up in Lenny's apartment, captivated by the screen. Eventually, Lenny convinces him to leave, and Marge enters them in a contest for a chance to win their own TV. They don’t snag the grand prize, but their third-place finish earns them a tour of the FOX studios. There, Homer discovers a wife-swapping show that could help him afford a plasma TV. Marge agrees to participate, and they swap partners with the Heathbar family. Charles Heathbar becomes infatuated with Marge, who is fulfilling his emotional needs, while his actual wife Verity finds Homer unbearable.
