While Susan and Charles are at Alan Conway's funeral, they discover that Atticus Pünd and his devoted assistant Fraser are present for the funeral of Sir Magnus Pye. To Susan's shock, she comes to the unsettling realization that her reality and Conway's fictional universe share more parallels than just chance.
