Home, Sweet Home (S02E01)

On February 5, 1865, Five Points is engulfed in chaos, with young men vanishing and perishing at an alarming rate, while a notorious criminal wreaks havoc in the Sixth Ward. Amid mounting pressure from Tammany Hall, Detective Kevin Corcoran and his fellow officers must heed the counsel of General Brendan Donovan, the newly reinstated ward leader. Meanwhile, Doctor Matthew Freeman visits his former mentor, who offers him a tempting opportunity that threatens to strain his marriage. In the uptown scene, Robert Morehouse and Elizabeth Haverford are busy planning their wedding and the execution of Confederate spy Kennedy. In the tombs, Francis Maguire awaits the decision on his fate.
