While Flex's dad is away, he takes on the responsibility of managing the family barbershop. However, juggling his duties there and his role as the sports anchor at the news station proves to be a challenge. Things take a turn for the worse when a botched interview with R&B singer Anthony Hamilton leads to his dismissal, leaving Flex with no choice but to commit to the barbershop full-time. Meanwhile, Duane, Breanna, Arnaz, and Spirit venture into the fashion business, planning to sell their new designs at McKinkley High School for a steep price.
