The atmosphere in the office shifts dramatically when Ellenor's client, Leonard Sowers, bursts in with police hot on his heels and tosses a bag of heroin onto her desk. Ellenor finds herself arrested for drug possession, and a search of her desk uncovers a bloody knife linked to the murder of Susan Robins. The situation escalates when Dickie Flood charges her with first-degree murder. However, Lindsay steps in to defend Ellenor, mending their past conflicts. Meanwhile, the police arrest George Vogelman for hiding a murder weapon and lying under oath. In another case, Bobby represents Judge Kittleson against a former clerk's sexual harassment lawsuit, while Jimmy is captivated by the judge's candid discussions about sex.
