Pilot (S01E01)

Will Packham is an optimistic pupil barrister, but his idealism is put to the test. His clients are undeniably guilty, and his pupil-master, Caroline, views him as a timid snowflake. Meanwhile, his fellow pupils are fiercely competitive, ready to undermine each other for the same position. In just two days, Will must defend a would-be murderer, help a young slam poet avoid detention, and run errands for Caroline, including picking up various pastries. Can Will maintain his principles while proving he has the skills needed to succeed in this cutthroat environment?
