In this episode, acclaimed actress Glenn Close takes a personal interest in the Hill family, whom she has nominated for assistance. The family’s father, Staff Sergeant Allen Hill, is an Iraqi war veteran grappling with severe PTSD, making it impossible for him to return to their home located near a bustling railroad and a quarry, both of which often trigger his anxiety. With support from Close’s organization, Bring Change 2 Mind, and the therapy dog initiative Puppies Behind Bars, the “EM:HE” design team will create a new, peaceful home for the Hill family, allowing Allen to reunite with his wife and children.
