Meanwhile, Markowitz faces severe repercussions after suggesting a prenuptial agreement. Brackman is taken aback when an old case reveals his father's double life, including a mistress and an illegitimate son. The firm rallies around Stulwicz following the death of his mother. Despite Kuzak's strong disapproval, Van Owen meets with Palmer and resolves to return to her home. Perkins and Kelsey reconcile their differences.
