As Michael prepares to put K.I.T.T.'s latest feature—driving on water—to the test, their plans take an unexpected turn when K.I.T.T. spots an injured scuba diver on the beach. Michael connects with the diver's sister and begins to dig deeper into the circumstances surrounding her brother's injuries. His investigation reveals that the young man had been recovering ancient Aztec artifacts from a submerged galleon, but his endeavors have attracted the ire of a relentless treasure hunter.
