Our journey starts on the serene Isle of Iona, the landing site of Christianity in Scotland. Next, we’ll hit the road across the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides, discovering ancient Iron Age forts, lush peat fields, a historic distillery, traditional thatched crofter huts, and the stunning landscape of the Trotternish Peninsula. Lastly, we’ll take a boat to Orkney, a place with a strong Nordic influence, where we can explore the stone remnants of a vibrant Iron Age community and poignant reminders of the 20th-century naval base at Scapa Flow.
