Prior to the start of the contest, Shakuni assures Duryodhan that he will remain in Hastinapur until Duryodhan claims the throne. The competition kicks off, and Duryodhan triumphs over Nakul and Sahdev. Soon after, Yudhishtir steps up to compete. However, Shakuni has already revealed his strategy for taking Yudhishtir down to Duryodhan.
