In the preheat challenge, the nine bakers left must create desserts that blend fruitcake with a marinated assortment of dried fruits, spices, and liquor. Following that, they are tasked with crafting Lambeth cakes, showcasing elaborate piping, bold color palettes, and a surprise element featuring a vintage ingredient. Judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman, and Nancy Fuller will ultimately determine which baker will be sent home.
