A teenage patient suffering from abdominal pain adamantly declines any medication. At the same time, Dr. Halstead finds himself reflecting on his past while caring for a patient. A pregnant woman struggles to hold off her labor, doing everything she can to keep the baby from arriving. Meanwhile, Dr. Rhodes seeks to steer clear of complications with his family.
