Delay (S01E02)

Amid the initial lockdown, Abbey decides to distance herself from her family to keep them safe. The team grapples with the clash between government regulations and optimal patient care as Covid-19 cases rise, including a colleague, Divina, who is struggling. Meanwhile, cancer patient Sally fears for her life. Abbey faces the difficult decision to discharge a care home resident without adequate testing. Despite their efforts, the team experiences heartbreak during a tearful farewell. Yet, these challenges only motivate the staff to intensify their efforts to save lives and curb the spread of Covid-19, finding joy in the small victories along the way.
