In the picturesque town of Ornavasso, Italy, Elisa Longo Borghini stays grounded, inspired by her supportive family and team. During Stage 4, Lucinda Brand from Lidl-Trek breaks away, closely following Audrey Cordon-Ragot, a stroke survivor and her former teammate. Despite the peloton closing in, Elisa secures a commendable 5th place. The heat of Stage 5 proves challenging, with Lidl-Trek's efforts to break away falling short, and a weary Balsamo ends up in last place.
