Ray, a prosperous businessman, and his spirited wife Gloria, have arranged for Dennis Pride to perform in Bakerbury. At the same time, Cora finds herself swept up in romance, charmed by the dashing Gilbert. When Sherry voices her concerns that he might be too perfect, it creates tension between the two women and leaves Cora questioning her feelings.
