Joining Harm and Mac on this sensitive case is forensic pathologist Lt. Cmdr. Teresa Coulter. The elders view the testing as a violation of their traditions, and the tribe's medicine woman firmly believes the remains are not those of the revered Blackhorse. As Teresa grapples with the clash between scientific proof and tribal beliefs, she unexpectedly develops feelings for Harm, complicating the mission further.
