Archie attends a party for unwed mothers to cover for a friend when a guest suddenly collapses and dies. Although the woman had frequently mentioned her suicidal thoughts and was known to possess cyanide, Archie is convinced her demise wasn't self-inflicted. As he investigates further, he uncovers crucial links that support his theory. With Wolfe's assistance, they work together to identify and bring the murderer to justice.
