Eleanor relocates Hick to a nearby bedroom in the White House, all while Franklin has the FBI keep an eye on her activities. As Eleanor’s influence and popularity rise, Betty takes charge of a White House campaign office aimed at ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment, much to the dismay of Jerry’s team, who are anxious about a potential conservative challenge for the upcoming Republican presidential nomination. Meanwhile, Michelle urges Barack to boldly support marriage equality, despite his worries about the implications for his re-election.
