In this episode, a series of sketches unfold at the precinct and beyond. The day kicks off at 10:00 a.m., where detectives wrap up a case with the question, “Did you kill that guy?” An old man provocatively asks his neighbor to hand over his wife. Meanwhile, a fast-food manager, who believes he is destined for greatness, contemplates his role. Later, a man and woman serendipitously cross paths. At 9:00 p.m., the precinct revisits the murder mystery. A man documents his experience of being let go from his job, and a hunter has a shocking encounter with a bear. The night concludes at 1:00 a.m. with the true resolution of the murder case.
