What defines a hero? Dr. Philip Zimbardo, the renowned psychologist known for the controversial Stanford Prison Experiment, now conducts workshops aimed at helping ordinary individuals discover their inner hero. But is heroism something that can truly be taught? To investigate this, I placed his unaware students in a staged crisis to observe their responses. Additionally, I enlisted some employees to assist with a seemingly perilous experiment to determine whether they would speak up and intervene to halt my actions.
