Meanwhile, in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, Eustace Conway and his friend Preston face the region's wettest winter in years as they work to prevent a landslide from destroying a rural road. In Montana, Tom Oar gears up for a critical showdown after encountering a wolf pack, while Rich Lewis battles a blizzard to stock up on food for the season.
