Carrie is determined to organize a fabulous celebration for Charlotte's "thirty-faux" birthday, but Charlotte is reluctant to embrace turning 36, fearing the passage of time. Meanwhile, Miranda joins the girls on a trip to Atlantic City, grappling with insecurities about her body. At the same time, Samantha becomes increasingly suspicious that Richard may be unfaithful, convinced that he’s involved with the entire female staff at their hotel.
