Oil (2) (S01E02)

Matthew receives an unexpected visit from an old friend, Walter Lankershim, who is in dire straits and seeks financial help. Walter explains he borrowed money from Blake to drill for oil but hasn’t had any success. Matthew turns down his request for cash. Later, he visits his wife Claudia, who has spent 18 months in a mental health facility, and is relieved to find she has improved and been released. Together with their daughter Lindsay, they decide to rebuild their family. Meanwhile, Blake and Krystle discuss their differences and begin planning a lavish wedding. Walter faces a mishap at his oil rig and suspects sabotage, believing Carrington may be involved.
