Robert Irvine receives an invitation to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Solvang, California, and is tasked with crafting a contemporary Viking feast. Working with only 8th-century pantry staples, he faces a variety of medieval challenges to earn access to modern ingredients. To pull off a successful festive dinner, he must rewrite history and conquer the Danes along the way.
