The last four teams sift through the river for gold to secure their initial funds, with some quickly gaining an advantage in their shopping and selling efforts. However, the harsh cold and biting winds pose ongoing difficulties for all. Tyler Florence presents a challenge, asking the teams to incorporate a staple Alaskan ingredient—crab—into a standout dish for their menu. The team that manages to sell the most of their creation will earn an additional $500 for their cash register.
