In Newport News, Va., the last three teams are oblivious to the fact that host Tyler Florence is secretly monitoring their food truck operations in a hidden surveillance test. After identifying the weakest team, he imposes a one-hour shutdown, though it brings an unexpected advantage. Meanwhile, the top two teams falter on challenges they could have easily conquered, while one food truck breaks a sales record, achieving the highest revenue ever.
