Title: Father's Day Plot: Calvin's father arrives in Washington, D.C. for a visit, and the duo enjoys thrilling basketball games and watching the Blue Angels soar through the sky. After a series of arguments with his grandmother, Calvin contemplates moving to Iceland to live with his dad, believing it would be a more exciting life. Pearl feels heartbroken but tries to hide her emotions. Mary organizes a farewell party for Calvin, and as he listens to heartfelt messages from friends, he comes to understand the depth of his connections in D.C. Ultimately, Calvin decides to remain in the city he calls home.
