After navigating some tough personal issues, Jim and Lisa decided to shift their energy toward something uplifting by transforming their basement into a bar and entertainment space. A contractor, highly praised by a neighbor, began the project smoothly, and as the work progressed, Jim and Lisa developed a friendship with him. However, once their budget was exhausted and the job was only partially done, the contractor mysteriously disappeared, leaving them in the lurch. Mike Holmes assessed the situation and determined the contractor had genuinely underestimated the job and couldn't admit his error. With the assistance of specialists in iron, brick, and bar design, Mike revamped the basement into an amazing English Pub, fulfilling Jim and Lisa's dream.
