Congo, January 1917 (S01E06)

While nursing a bee sting on his toe, an elderly Indy reflects on his harrowing experiences at Albert Schweitzer's jungle hospital in Africa during World War I. Schweitzer and his staff rescued Indy and his companions, who were gravely ill while trying to transport a cache of weapons across the Congo. Initially skeptical about receiving care from a German, Indy gradually understands that Schweitzer's true mission is to heal the wounded and sick, prioritizing compassion over conflict in a time of turmoil.
