Alan Chandler, a charming 14-year-old, often grapples with feelings of inadequacy among his friends. He seeks validation by sharing outrageous stories, hoping to capture their attention. While many of Alan's fibs appear innocent, Billy reveals an important lesson to him: “When someone makes a mistake and then lies to cover it up, they only compound the issue.” This insight prompts Alan to reconsider his approach to honesty and the consequences of his actions.
