Richard, James, and Jeremy face a new challenge: find a functioning Porsche for no more than £1,500. Richard opts for a 924, famously equipped with a van engine, at £750, while James chooses a 944 for £900. As expected, Jeremy splurges on a 928S, spending the full £1,500. They must complete various tasks to determine whose purchase was the finest. Jeremy also takes the new Golf GTI for a spin, calling it an exhilarating experience despite its hefty weight. Additionally, a Mini appears in Restoration Rip-Off, and blind racer Billy Baxter attempts to outperform Richard Whiteley and Terry Wogan in the Liana. Cliff Richard makes a guest appearance in the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment.
