After the unexpected death of his childhood idol, trumpet player Jo Jo Burnett, Chris is taken aback to discover that Jo Jo had no close friends or family. To avoid a similar fate in his own life, Chris asks his girlfriend Celeste to join him on tour, hoping to solidify their relationship. However, this decision backfires as Celeste witnesses the rowdy behavior of groupies and the immature antics of the band. Meanwhile, Anson, the band’s resident party animal, grapples with his own insecurities after a young woman comments on his yellowing teeth. Additionally, Yola, who has chosen to accompany them on tour, is creating chaos with her overly controlling nature.
