Jeff Devlin, a skilled carpenter, is called upon by Lisa and Tom to renovate their historic stone home in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, dating back to 1737. They want him to enhance two distinct sections: the first floor, which serves as a mudroom and entrance, and the kitchen, a space from the 1800s that feels stuck in the 1980s. Jeff and his crew dive into the renovation, incorporating authentic historic features into the entryway while transforming the kitchen to reflect its original 19th-century charm. Additionally, they search for a rumored hidden hatch in the entryway floor, thought to be a trapdoor linked to the Underground Railroad.
