Hacker plots to create a Hackerspace by drilling into Ecotopia, capturing the elderly Doctor Marbles and stealing his journal to find the Reformat Button. In their quest, Buzz and Delete inadvertently capture Abby, Ollie's mom, and drill into the inner slime core. Hacker imprisons Doctor Marbles and Abby while he recalibrates the button's location. Motherboard dispatches the Cybersquad to Ecotopia to investigate the source of the slime and its impact, discovering that two-thirds of the Preserve has been devastated, displacing many animals. They must create a new preserve and relocate the animals. Using an ark, they rescue the animals just in time to escape a whirlpool.
