Their confrontation begins, with Tobi revealing that he inspired Yahiko to create Akatsuki and entrusted the Rinnegan to Nagato. In response, Konan transforms into countless sheets of paper in a self-destructing attack, but it fails, leaving them both unharmed. Konan then unleashes a formidable paper technique, creating a vast sea of paper around them.
