In the 1990s, Dan is on the trail of a serial kidnapper. Meanwhile, when Katie is summoned to Zack's school, she starts to question how Dan's frequent absences might be impacting their son. Jack is starting to entertain the idea that Dan might actually be time traveling. This episode serves as the first half of the story, leading into the finale titled "Blowback."
