Pedro and Sean's relationship is strained, prompting Pedro to take a break and visit his family in Miami, where he feels a sense of belonging. While catching up with his two closest friends, Pedro unexpectedly falls seriously ill. Concerned for his well-being, he sees a doctor and attempts to rest, but his family and roommates grow increasingly anxious about his condition. Meanwhile, Cory and Puck take time to discuss their living arrangements, with Puck sensing that the others are more invested in Pedro's health than his own feelings. Ultimately, Pedro addresses Cory to clear up their misunderstandings.
