Old Friends, Old Wounds (S03E13)

Tragedy strikes Green Gables with the unexpected passing of Marilla Cuthbert, leaving no will behind. Everyone assumes that Anne is destined to inherit the beloved homestead. However, when Gilbert Blythe comes to Avonlea with plans to purchase Green Gables, he discovers it has already been acquired by a neighbor. Now, Rachel Lynde and the children find themselves without a home, unless Rachel can win over the new owner—a man who has a strong dislike for her.
