Iris steps out of the doll shop and decides to be Louis's muse, but only if he promises to teach her how to paint. Silas, upon discovering Iris's decision, is heartbroken, leading to a confrontation between the two men. While Iris savors her newfound independence, an unexpected and shocking crime occurs.
