Fred encounters a dubious salesman hawking a drug called methusadol, who convinces him to buy a bottle of pills for $100, claiming they'll restore his youth and vitality. Believing in the pills' miraculous effects, Fred begins taking them and feels rejuvenated. However, when he shares this with Evelyn, she decides to look into the product. After her investigation, she brings Fred the disappointing truth about the pills and their real effects.
