Almost a year later, Bosch remains deeply involved in the Daisy Clayton murder investigation when he receives a call to the Lake Hollywood Overlook to look into the killing of medical physicist Stanley Kent. Meanwhile, Edgar conducts a sting operation targeting corrupt officers, Maddie embarks on a new internship, and Chief Irvin Irving kicks off his campaign for mayor.
