Donald Fletcher, a sleazy publishing mogul, takes over a once-respected but struggling publishing company, transforming it into a scandalous venture filled with racy pictures. Edmond Aitken, heir to the family's legacy, is determined to remove Fletcher but learns from Perry that he has no legal grounds to act. Things take a dramatic turn when Fletcher is discovered dead in his apartment, and the main suspect is none other than Alyce, Aitken's wife.
