A fire at a club owned by Danny's acquaintance, Lou Chesler, leads to Lou's tragic death. His wife, Elizabeth, becomes the prime suspect, particularly in the eyes of an insurance investigator who suspects she might have been involved in her husband's demise. The investigator believes she has a history of harming other men in her life and cautions the most recent one, who happens to be Quincy, that he could be in danger as well.
