Feeders and Eaters (S01E02)

Set in the shadowy ambiance of a 24-hour café, we meet Joyce, a young waitress nearing the end of her pregnancy. Suddenly, her past comes rushing back with the arrival of Eddie Barrow, who is eager to share his tale. Joyce is keen for us to listen. Eddie unfolds an unusual and eerie love story featuring Effie, an enchanting elderly woman residing in the boarding house across from him. Effie possesses a mystical quality, but her survival hinges on an unsettling requirement: she craves raw meat.
