There, an irate father of the bride unexpectedly offers Cory a million dollars to marry his daughter. Meanwhile, Tommy desperately asks a heartbroken Eric to adopt him, hoping to avoid a move to California. In a twist, Eric feigns indifference about wanting Tommy, believing it will be better for him to find happiness with a new family.
