She starts to sift through the eligible spinsters in town, setting her sights on either Hetty or Muriel. Meanwhile, Gus and Felicity, who are in a committed relationship, receive news that could change everything. Gus has earned a promotion to Assistant Manager at the White Sands Hotel, giving him the confidence to propose, which Alec supports. However, Felicity has just been accepted into Dalhousie University’s medical program, which could take seven years to complete. This creates a dilemma as Gus wants to marry soon, while Felicity feels she should wait, leading them to navigate their uncertain future. Gus is influenced by his old sailor friend, Matt O'Donnell, while Felicity considers the support of the Kings and her medical aspirations.
