After uncovering the link to his deceased mother, Sergei remains engrossed in Colonel Vronsky's tale. Meanwhile, Anna arrives home with the young Vronsky trailing behind, eager to capture her heart. However, he soon realizes that she is firmly committed to her husband and family. As time passes, feelings begin to blossom between the young Vronsky and Anna.
