Pasiphae understands that she can never fully rule as long as both she and Ariadne have a rightful claim to the throne. In a surprising move, she offers Ariadne her freedom in exchange for renouncing her claim. Meanwhile, Jason and Hercules, now fugitives, have retreated to the mountains. There, Medusa and Pythagoras devise their own scheme that will require an extraordinary sacrifice.
