Destroying Angel (S04E02)

Barnaby finds himself at the funeral of the Easterly Grange Hotel's proprietor, where whispers of the hotel manager's mysterious disappearance arise. During the will reading, it becomes clear the hotel is to be shared among the missing manager, his alluring wife, the chef, and the accountant. A dog uncovers the manager’s severed hand, leading to ominous messages sent to the will's beneficiaries. Soon, a series of mishaps occur: mushroom poisoning, a seemingly accidental shooting, a toppled drinks cabinet, and a tampered car. Barnaby discovers that the missing manager had a newer will, which has also vanished...
